Your cozy stopover in the nature reserve Altmühltal
Greding is located between Nuremberg and Munich, in middle of the beautiful nature reserve Altmühltal. We're the ideal stopover on your way south for skiing in the Alps in winter or when heading to Italy for some sunny days in summer.
Greding is an officially recognized health resort and boasts a historical town centre and a lot of leisure activities. Based in the Naturpark Altmühltal, we're a great destination for longer visits: For walks, cycling or motorbiking, canoeing, golfing and a lot more…
Stroll along the historic city wall with its well-preserved towers and city gates, visit the Romanesque St. Martin Basilica and the “Karner” (an ossuary from the time of pestilence). Continue to the museum of nature and man, the arch bishop's castle and numerous restaurants and pubs in the historic city center.
Or head into the Greding indoor aquatic centre with sauna and spa, massage and wellness packages.
Outside Greding there's an airfield with a flight school, scenic flights and a centre for parachute jump trainings.
